Nelson-based team:
Industrial Electrical Supervisor
- NZ registered with current practising license
- Predominately Nelson based but prepared to travel for site-based work
- Industrial Experience is essential. HV experience would be an advantage
- Supervisor/Leadership experience essential
Our Electrical team manage the execution of all on-site electrical project work including installation and maintenance. Working on a broad range of activities you will work closely with other in-house project delivery and engineering disciplines including mechanical and civil trades along with Electrical Engineers and project managers. We offer interesting work with long-standing key clients and competitive wages with penal rates.
The successful candidates will possess skills in the following areas:
- Proven Supervisory experience with Electrical teams
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of health and safety
- New Zealand registered Electrician, with current practising license
- 5+ years of Industrial or High Voltage experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve onsite as required
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strength both technically and practically to execute and deliver projects, installation and maintenance work to the expectation of all stakeholders.
- Hold a current NZ driver’s license
- Capable of coordinating invoicing with admin teams
- Ability to lead the way with Health and Safety systems and processes
We are looking for people who excel on a construction/industrial site and understand the dynamics of working within a project/construction team. You will be physically fit with the ability to pass a pre- employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
